22nd Annual Jr. Chargers Summer Classic Tournament

• Cut-off date for player eligibility is MAY 1.  No player will be older than their respective age division prior to May 1 of the current year.
• 3 GAMES GUARANTEED, weather permitting
• AWARDS – Individual medals for 1st and 2nd place teams
• No check-in - Report to field at designated time
• FULL CONCESSIONS - No carry-ins allowed

ENTRANCE FEE:

• Early Bird Entrance Fee (before 1/1/24) - $550

• Entrance Fee (1/1/23 or after) - $575

• Multiple Team Discount (3 or more teams) - $525

The first team entry fees received will be entered in the tournament.

• Home Run Derby: $15, re-hit $10
• Base Burner: $10, re-run $5
• Speed Pitch: $10, re-pitch $5
• BUNDLE PACKAGE FOR ALL THREE- $25!!

LOCATION: 

Village Park- Short walk to the Maple Elementary field located just east of Village Field 2 and the Hardball Diamond.

TIME:

• Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Top 2 in each age group & event will be awarded.

DIVISIONS:

• U7/8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, Adults

REGISTRATION: CASH OR VENMO

• In-person: registration table at Maple Elementary field behind Village Park. Short walk, follow the signs!

PLACEMENTS:

• You have to beat a score to bump a player from a placement position. There are no ties.
• We are rewarding players for participating early. Whether you are in 1st or 2nd place, we are giving the advantage to players that participated earliest as the tie breaker. Hit, run or pitch again to beat their score!

AWARDS

• Top 2 in each age division as of APPROXIMATELY 5:00 PM on Saturday will receive awards. Awards will be handed out at the Lighted Diamond concession stand concluding the 6:00 pm game.
• Final competition will be held for the Home Run Derby - top 2 for each age division will compete concluding the 6:00 pm game on the lighted diamond.
• No Competition for Adults Home Run Derby. Award will be given to top 2 adults with all other awards.

How far can you hit? Test your skills by hitting as many home runs as you can!

• Each participant will have his own pitcher (coach or parent). The hitter will be allowed 5 outs in the qualifying rounds. An out is any swing that does not result in a home run.
• **RE-INTRODUCING** Adult option for the Home Run Derby.
  • Each participant will have to have own pitcher. Wooden bats must be used by adults.

RE-HITS

• A participant may re-hit as many times as they want for $10 per round. If there is a line, they need to wait for their next turn. 

DISTANCE 

By age as follows

Power will be on display in the HR Derby, but it the Base Burner Competition speed will take the stage. Each player entered will be timed as they fly around the bases. 

ENTRANCE FEES (PER PARTICIPANT)

• $10, two timed runs with the lowest being recorded
• No limit on the number of entries. Re-run for $5 until 5:00 pm on Saturday.

AWARDS

• Top 2 in each age division as of approximately 5:00 pm on Saturday will receive awards. Awards will be handed out at the Lighted Diamond after the 6:00 pm game.
