Thank you to Ryan Schilter from CrossFit Blue Moon for coming in and working with the Jr. Chargers catchers!  The evening was spent focused solely on position-specific drills for one of the most vital positions in the game - the catcher.

Schilter is part of the Sussex community and along with his wife Emma, they own CrossFit Blue Moon. He spent his last 2 years as a college player as the catcher for the Pointers of UW-Stevens Point. He was named to the 2013 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-American Team shortly after leading the UW-Stevens Point baseball team to the program's fifth NCAA Division III World Series appearance.

“While Ryan was with us for only two years, he certainly left a lasting impression on our program,” said UWSP Head Coach Pat Bloom. “He is one of the best catchers to have played here at UWSP, and his defensive performance in the World Series was as impressive as I have seen from any position player.” Schilter was a perfect 8-for-8 in throwing out base runners during the World Series.
