The lockers weren't the only thing new at our indoor facility on Sunday.

The weather outside was warm giving  us a flavor of baseball season, but in our training facility it was hot with hitting.

We launched our series of Skill Specific Camps: Hitting Mechanics, with Hamilton HS varsity baseball coach Mike Schramek.  Originally slated for 2 sessions, we filled all slots in less than 8 hours! The demand forced us to open a 3rd session. 89 players and roughly 23 coaches participated in a total of 6 hours of drills and development.

Players walked away understanding the hitting approach the high school is looking for and coaches with drills they can implement into practice to continue the development path. Everyone learned a lot, but the key in development is that we continue to use what we learned. If you were unable to attend Sunday, your son will start to learn the concepts  in their team practices.

Thank you to Coach Schramek, all of the Jr. Chargers coaches, and players for making this camp a success.  Stay tuned for the 2nd camp announcement in our series of Skill Specific Camps.
