The U10 Jr Chargers Red won the Battle in New Berlin Tournament Championship this past weekend, hosted by the New Berlin Pumas. The Chargers earned a bye on Sunday with two wins on Saturday, a 9-7 win over AHQ Pesek (IL) and a 12-2, 4-inning win over the New Berlin Pumas. On Sunday, the Chargers defeated Broncos Select in the semifinals, 12-3 in 5 innings. In a rematch vs. the host Pumas for the tournament championship, the Chargers earned a thrilling 7-6, walk-off win in extra innings. In four tournaments this season, U10 Red has finished top 3 in each of them and carries an overall record of 22-4.
