The Hamilton Jr Chargers U9 Red team posted three wins over the weekend, outscoring opponents 34-5 along the way. The champions of Wind Lake Summer Classic finished the weekend 3-0, improving to a 12-1 record overall.

The Jr Chargers squared off against a resilient Milwaukee Bombers squad in the finals, who they previously beat 4-3 in a well contested pool play game. Lead by three hit performances of Sean Moser and Vincent Rubens, the boys racked up nine runs and 16 hits on their way to a 9-2 victory. Caleb Ruppel, Jack Jacoby, Bryce Wanner and Leo Gopalratnam each contributed multi-hit games as well.

On the mound, Moser secured the win by pitching a shutout in the first two innings, with Evan Gilles and Jackson Weber each providing strong middle innings. Rubens closed out the game out in one inning of relief. In five innings of play, the Jr Charger pitchers allowed just four hits and one walk, while striking out three Bomber hitters.
