The U12 Red Chargers brought home the championship trophy for the Hartford Summer Slam Tournament over the weekend.  Ben Koch dominated at the plate with a .625 average, 1.792 OPS and his first dinger of the season!  Koch was also stellar behind the dish gunning down 4 attempted stealers.  Cole Erdmann also helped carry the team at the plate and on the mound with a .714 average and a 1.000 ERA with 9 strikeouts in 6 innings pitched.  Defense was key in the championship game against Waupun with Brayden Schroeder coming up huge for the Chargers in the outfield and Will Hietpas dominant at shortstop.  Hats off to the boys for another great tournament performance!
