Nothing was safe on the Rock River last weekend, fish or opposing teams, as U13 brought home the championship of the Rock River Shootout. Normally known for their outstanding defense, it was a power surge on display in Watertown Wisconsin. U13 outscored there opponents 50-8 on the weekend. Caden Mielke, Brady York, John Arnold, Will Stendler, and Ethan Tetting went a combined 40-67 .597 BA. Arnold had 6 extra base hits 5 doubles and a triple. Mielke although he claims his bat is dead, hit laser over the left field fence for a HR. The Boom was dropped however by Stendler, 5 doubles, 1 Homer Run, and a Grand-slam that still hasn't landed.
