On January 20th we will hold our 3rd camp in our series of Skill Specific Camps. This camp will focus on hitting with Hamilton HS Varsity Head Coach Mike Schramek.  Coach Schramek will be putting a new twist on this year’s camp by executing a more stationed approach. This will provide our players and coaches the opportunity to review the philosophy we have seen in the past, but apply some new approaches to execution. 

 

The camp will focus on variety of hitting drills used at the high school level that reinforce the programs hitting philosophies and techniques.  The format of the camp will present core hitting drills the high school program uses. Players will go through a circuit of these drills, and work on live hitting and instruction in the cage. Time will be built in throughout the presentation for questions promoting open dialog, interaction, and education for coaches who attend. Coaches please make this a priority. We will need support in administering the drills, but more importantly bringing these back to your practices.

 

We will have 2 time slots to sign up for U8-U10: 2:30pm-4:30pm, U11-U14: 5pm-7pm.  U7’s will not participate in this event.  Coach Schramek will be working with them directly at their practices. Registration will close on January 19th so we can prepare the camp based off turnout.   This event will be held at our indoor practice facility.
