We will host our 2nd camp in our Skill Specific Camp Series on January 6th 6:00pm-8:00pm. This camp will be for all age groups and will focus on one of the most vital positions to any baseball team, the catcher. 

 

Leading our Catchers Camp will be Scott Carberry. Carberry’s high school career was spent right here in Sussex as a 3 year starter for Hamilton. He continued playing in semi-pro leagues around the state like MSBL played at The Rock, and Land O’ Lakes where he has been a 10 time All-Star. In 2017 He was a part of the Milwaukee Mudhens competing in the MSBL World Series in Phoenix Arizona. Carberry worked with Jason Jaramillo, retired Pittsburgh Pirates catcher, as a catching instructor for Prospects Baseball Academy.

 

If you have your own catchers gear you are free to sign up. If you DO NOT have your own catchers gear we will ask that you first contact your head coach and get endorsed as one of the catchers to attend the camp.  We will need to have all of the catchers in gear. This camp is designed to make our catchers better not to be an introduction to catching. For those of you are interested in trying catching, your coaches will learn a lot of drill to introduce you to in your team practices. We will again be having both players and coaches register.
