Our U11 red team took 1st place at the Pewaukee Father's Day tourney. Congrats team!!
Congrats to the U9 Red team on their 3rd place finish in the Pewaukee Jr. Pirates Father's Day Tourney! The rain kept us from playing on Saturday, but Sunday was a perfect day for some baseball. Thank you to all the dads for spending their day with their sons at the ballpark (like that took a lot of convincing)!
Each year the Jr. Chargers Baseball program is proud to honor two Hamilton High School graduating seniors with a scholarship. The scholarship is given to individuals who have played for the Jr. Chargers organization for a minimum of four years, been a part of the High School baseball program for four years, have shown exemplary academic scholarship and have been active in the community and the school. For the 2017 graduating class Jr. Chargers Baseball would like to congratulate our two winners, Ryan Hubbell and Cole Roepke. We would also like to wish them and all those who applied for the scholarships the best of luck during this summer’s baseball season and as they embark on their college adventures.
Congratulations to the U14 Red team on their 2nd place finish over the Memorial Day weekend at the Longshots Baseball Tournament in Downers Grove, IL. This tournament feature some of the top teams in the Chicago area & the Midwest.
Congratulations to our U9 Red team on a Mother’s Day Championship win at the 5 Diamonds B Blast tournament!! The boys finished with a 10-9 win over Bronco Select Baseball. We had some very proud mamas out there. Thank you all for sharing your day with these young men.
The Sussex Hamilton Jr. Charger Baseball organization is a High-School “FEEDER PROGRAM” that focuses on coaching, mentoring and motivating young people in the game of Baseball. The organization does this while maintaining a “SELECT LEVEL” status by offering A, B and C (if roster numbers permit) level teams, in line with the WSYBL standards. This is done through our “evaluation process” (often referred to as “Try-Outs”).
This organization’s philosophy is to provide an environment that cultivates a progression of skills and knowledge for the game. It also focuses on instilling respect for Sportsmanship, the Team and our Community. Our goal is to deliver, to the High School Baseball program, not only outstanding young baseball players but fine young athletes that will consistently represent what being a “CHARGER” is about.
|2nd grade||At U8 (2nd grade) we will select players to fill teams and teams will be set between the end of January and beginning of April after we have had more to time to evaluate the players and truly split the teams evenly. Head coaches would be determined by the board and then the head coaches would draft the players afterwards.|
|3rd grade||At U9 (3rd grade) we will select players to fill teams and teams will be set between the end of January and beginning of April after we have had more to time to evaluate the players and truly split the teams into A/B/C. Head coaches would be determined by the board and then the head coaches would draft the players afterwards.|
|4th grade through 8th grade||U10 (4th grade) through U14 (8th grade) teams would be split into A, B and/or C teams as determined by tryouts, previous season performances and Coach/Board evaluations.|
